Commissioning an animal portrait

Commissioning a portrait from me couldn't be easier. All you need to do is contact me using the contact form below or email myart@sarahedwardsart.co.ukand and let me know your requirements. I require a 25% non-refundable deposit* on booking your portrait, with the balance due on completion.

My portraits are created in coloured pencil, using only high quality Derwent Artist pencils. I use medium or heavyweight cartridge paper to capture colour and texture, so perfect for animal portraits.

Every portrait is professionally mounted with backing board and wrapped in acid free acetate for delivery purposes.

Your quote is effective for 3 months.

Prices are based on paper size. Your portrait will be a good size within the paper area. Postage is included for the UK.

These sizes and prices are a rough guide, I would be happy to quote on other sizes.

Please contact me for portraits that have more than one subject or if you require a larger size.

Framing

I have a range of good quality frames for you to choose from to complete the presentation of your portrait. The prices vary from between £50 - £100. I am happy to discuss your framing requirements.

Photography

I ask for good quality, clear photographs, digital preferred but happy to work with hard copies.

My style is very detailed and based on realism. I am happy to work with poorer quality images if absolutely necessary, but please be aware that I won't be able to create highly detailed portraits from unclear photos.

All portraits are bubbled wrapped and packaged within a large mailing bag, so will reach you in perfect condition.

*Deposits are non refundable except in the unfortunate case where I have to cancel your portrait, whereby I will refund your deposit in full.
