Commissioning a pet portrait from me couldn't be easier. All you need to do is tell me what you would like using the contact form below or email myart@sarahedwardsart.co.uk and let me know your requirements. I will provide a quote and if you decide to go ahead, I require a 25% non-refundable deposit* on booking your portrait, with the balance due on completion.
The checklist for what I need to know includes:
Please see my Price List page to help you decide on the specific requirements of your pet portrait. Your quote is effective for 3 months.
*Deposits are non refundable except in the unfortunate case where I have to cancel your portrait, whereby I will refund your deposit in full.
I ask for good quality, clear photographs, digital preferred but I am happy to work with hard copies. See my Photo to Finished Drawing page for guidance on photos.
My style is very detailed and based on realism. I am happy to work with poorer quality images if absolutely necessary, but please be aware that I won't be able to create a highly detailed pet portrait from unclear photos.
A frame completes the presentation of your pet portrait and you can decide if you would like me to do it or take it to your own framers. I can provide you with a selection of frames to choose from for your pet portrait should you wish me to frame it.
Please see examples on the Framed Portraits page and a guide to pricing on the Price List page. I am happy to discuss your framing requirements if you require something different and I can advise with all aspects of framing your pet portrait. Please don’t hesitate to ask.
Every unframed pet portrait is professionally mounted with backing board and wrapped in acetate for delivery purposes.
Framed pet portraits will be mounted in their frames with your choice of frame and your choice of coloured mount board.
All pet portraits are bubble wrapped and packaged within a large mailing bag, so will reach you in perfect condition.
My prices include postage for the UK.
